These five sessions invite us to open ourselves to the Scriptures in preparation for the celebration of Easter

In our Sunday liturgy, 2019 is the Year of Saint Luke. The Season of Lent is a preparation for Easter. The Scripture readings throughout this season, especially St Luke’s Passion Narrative, emphasize the loving forgiveness of Jesus. Luke is the evangelist who gives us the beautiful insight about opening up the Scriptures:

They said to each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us
while he was talking to us on the road,
while he was opening the scriptures to us?”’
